1. Ladakh, India








  South asian country india is full of natural and architectural wonders. Ladakh is a union territory region in north india. This regions is also called cold desert of india. Especially the  pangong lake here is very famous. Many bollywood movies have been shot here. Nubra valley present here leaves visitors spell bound. Majority people follow buddhism here. Ladakh is famous for its stunning mountains and valleys. Khardungla pass is a popular pass located at a high altitude. Mountains remain covered by glaciers and snow. 


2. Uyuni salt flat, Bolivia 









  Bolivia, a south american country, has a beautiful salt lake known as uyuni salt lake. This salt flat is the world's largest salt flat. It is located in daniel compos province, potosi area. It looks like a flat huge mirror. The reflection is so beautiful that it forms a scene where land and sky meet. Many pink flamingos are found here. Such places are very rare to find on our planet. Some people also call uyuni salt flat as heaven. 


3. Machu picchu, Peru









Machu picchu is the most famous tourist destination of south american country peru. More than 7k feet above sea level in the andes mountains, machu picchu is also included in 7 wonders of the world. The place was built in 15th century and later abandoned. The place remained as a lost city for about 500 years which is another
reason for it being a wonder of the world. 

4. Santorini, Greece 







  Greece country is famous for its historic contributions. But it is also popular for cool tourist attractions,Santorini is one of them. Santorini is recognized for its whitewashed, sunset, cube shaped buildings with blue accents. It is one of the cyclades island in aegean sea. Devastated by volcanic eruption in 16th century, the rugged landscape was formed. Clear blue water is also a reason why 2 million tourists visit santorini. The clean water promotes aquatic activities like surfing, swimming etc. 

5. Atacama desert, chile












Atacama desert is a desert plateau in south america with an area covering about 105,000 km sq. This desert is also called 'mars on earth' due to its red surface. Surpisingly, it is home to 1 million people. This desert is also famous for mining desert. The place receives a rainfall of about 15mm. Atacama desert borders central andean, chilean matorral, and sechura desert.
